History of Black Dog

Yesterday when I was writing about my experience of the Black Dog Presents Russell Peters Live, I thought about how Black Dog became one of the world’s finest Scotch Whisky! So I started my research, It was a fascinating one, it helped me know more about the true Scottish brand and the heritage of the brand Which is more than a century old.

The birth of the great whisky took place 130 years ago when Sir Walter Milard a scot by birth; who was an extensive traveler started searching for the perfect blend of Scotch and then discovered it across the shores of Scotland. James McKinley from the second generations of the Leith Scotch-whisky blending family launched the masterful Scotch by the name of Sir Walter Millard’s favorite fishing fly; The Black Dog a legend was born. Today Black Dog is savored as a Scotch distilled, matured and blended in the lowland regions of Scotland in all parts of the world.

Every time-honored process is followed the same way it was done when it started to produce the impeccable blend of robust, yet smooth Scotch-whisky which is relished as an intricate fusion of delicate tones and soft aromas.

Available in 4 enchanting blends:
  • Quintessence 21 Year Old Scotch Whisky.
  •  Reserve 18 Year Old Scotch-whisky.
  • 12 Year Old Deluxe Scotch-whisky.
  • Centenary Aged and Rare Scotch,

Black Dog is now available in the best bars across the world and marking it as quality International Luxury Brand.

Black Dog, One of the world’s finest Scotch Whisky with a history of 130 Years the blend is still serving people as a quality International Luxury Brand it did way back in 1883 and thus the legacy of the Blend recognized by Walter Millard and prepared by James McKinley still survive to exist in the same form as its creators intended it to be.
