Loft 38

We went to this new place on Indiranagar called loft 38 on a sat night we were 4 of us a friend who had recently got engaged and a friend along with me. The food was pretty good as well. Their variety was unique, the portions fit the price and over all I was really happy with what was served to me.

We were a bit confused looking at the menu as to what we should have, Looking at our confusion the manager walked to us and asked if he can suggest us the menu. we were more than willing to let him decide.

He started the evening by sending out few off the best Cocktails they have it in the menu of Loft38.

As we were sipping the Cocktail, i decided to take a look at the place as i was going to this for the first time! The ambiance is great, though they can do with a more spacious dance floor but this is one off he best  dance floors i have seen!

One thing that caught my eye  was the DJ console i went had a chat with the DJ and he has a great collection and he can really set the mood and set the dance floor ablaze!

By the time we were looking at the place and we spoke to DJ, the starters were served!! So we went back to our place.
First We were served with Assorted Crostini Platter, toasted bread topped with creamy mushroom, balsamic tossed spinach and feta. It had a great taste and the cream on top of the toppings added to the taste.

Next up was Grilled Cottage Cheese, this is Apricot chilli salsa stuffed in grilled cottage cheese and served with homemade herb.

Highlight of the day was Mezze Platter, this is a platter with Hummus, Babaganoush, Taztziki, Falafel, Marinated Olives, Kidney bean salad, Syrian fattoush, pita nad crackers! This was a great selection of dishes on this platter!

For the main course we had the Eggplant Parmigiana, classic Northern Italian baked dosh of eggplant, tomato and Parmesan.

You couldn't make out the presence off the Eggplant as the usual smell associated with the eggplant wasn't there!! The best parmigiana i have had ever.

The Non vegetarian friend in the group ordered Roasted Spring Chicken, he says it had Herb marinated roasted chicken vegetables.

Then we had Fettuccine Primavera, Fettuccine Spaghetti with fresh vegetables, green peas, herns and light cream sause!

After a heavy main course we decided to end the day with some desserts. We ordered Philadelphia Cheese Cake, baked cheese cake with blueberry compote.

We ended the day with Chocolate, Raisins and Rum Fondant, it is freshly baked chocolate fondant with rum soaked raisins and Vanilla ice cream.

Loft38 is a great place with the best acoustics to go with the dance floor and very cordial staff. Hope to visit the place soon! Do let me know how you liked the place.
