Grab it eat it...

Last week, when i was planning to visit a friend at Kormangala, he said he is at a newly opened cafe The Cafe Grab Eat, so i asked him for the exact location and went over there!! The moment i went inside it was a cozy casual cafe diner on JNC Road of Koramangala.

This places offers wide variety of simple yet very tasty products both in veg and non veg dishes at a very affordable costs!

I thought will I go back with a half filled stomach looking at café’s 1 page simple menu with teas to shakes, momos to Biryanis, salads to Butter Chicken! The menu is for the dynamic Bangalore crowd especially since it is near a prestigious college of Bangalore. The cafe has these beautiful props and unique seating options too. We took the table that had a feel of sitting on a swing (jhoola).

We ordered a Mocha Motion and Momos, which were delivered in no time, we saw that this place is well equipped to be a hangout as well as a place to sit down and work on your laptops. The cafe has free Wifi (first 30 mins), plug in points at every table, a meeting board, also white board markers and dusters are kept for you to make Algorithms or just a free hand drawing.

The ambiance and seating was pretty nice and was filled with funny one liners and has a fun theme to it. Tried the Masala Omelets and Roti which had a unique flavor. The USP of the place is the aromatic Biryani which is just enough for a person to grab a quick lunch. The main course of properly packed roti and the curry which was not to spicy and just right on the flavor.  We ordered a dessert which was gone in no time! The packing of the dishes are such that you can either take it away or have a seat and enjoy it at the café.

If I thought the Masala Omelet and Biryani was the best thing that happened to me that day, I was wrong as the best thing was the prices which are so low that it will give other cafes in town a run for their money also there was no compromise on taste of the food served!!

On our way out we met owner Amitava Nandi we told him how the staff of the café were a wonderful host and told him that everything was so perfect and filling that we will be back shortly, for which he thanked us for the kind words and shared that this cafe will have a dynamic menu with a centralized kitchen coming soon. It’s soon going to be a ‘No Plastic’ cutlery and there will be 22 Cafes in the Garden City by the end of this year!! More places to Just Grab and eat!!
