New tablets from Lenovo

Lenovo announced and launched 5 tablets for Indian Market. Out of the 5, 3 are Android based tablets and the remaining 2 are Windows-8 hybrit tablets. The range includes the budget tablet A1000 accompanied by A3000 and S6000. The Windows 8 counterpart are Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2 and Ideapad Lynx K3011.



Lenovo A1000:-

 This budget friendly tablet is made for Indian market with voice calling capabilities. It packs a 7″ 1024*600p resolution, comes with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB with micro-SD Card, 0.3MP front cam, runs on Android 4.1 and 2G Support. A1000 is equipped with Dual-Front speakers and is supported by Dolby Digital Plus enhancer to maximise the music listening experience.

Lenovo A3000:-

This tablet is same as A1000 with 1.2GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 7″ Display with 1024*600p resolution but comes with 3G voice calling, Android 4.2, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage expandable upto 64GB. The tablet is powered by 3500mAh powerhouse.

Lenovo S6000:-

This tablet comes with MediaTek’s 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, 10.1″ 1280*800p resolution, comes with Android 4.2, 1GB RAM and 6300 mAh battery. There is 5MP rear shooter and 0.3MP front camera, comes with 16GB internal memory.

Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2:-

This is a new addition to enterprise offering from Lenovo. This tablet comes with 10.1″ IPS display with 1366*768 and supports 5-finger multi-touch. This tablet comes with Intel Atom Z2760 1.8GHz dual-core processor. It comes with 2GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, packs with a stylus. Lenovo also has a Bluetooth Keyboard and Dock available for purchase to the customers.

Lenovo IdeaPad Lynx K3011:-


This is a hybrid Windows 8 based Tablet which combines features of tablet as well as PC. This comes with 1.8GHz Dual Core processor. This tablet comes with 11.6″ IPS HD screen, measuring 300.9 * 188 * 9.45mm and weighs around 667g. This tablet supports 10-point multi-touch.
